Polish Agile / Lean communities

An agile group from Bialystok, bringing together practitioners and enthusiasts of agile software development methodologies. Meetings are conducted mainly in the form of workshops with participants exchanging experience, gaining new skills and solving problems together.

A Silesian group of people interested in agile methodologies, created in November 2013 (the first meeting took place in December). Agile Silesia has been conducting regular meetings in the Silesian Agglomeration.

A group from Katowice organizing meetings both in the form of workshops, as well as meetings involving discussions and loose exchange of knowledge. Big Agile (Theory) invites everyone interested in agile methodologies to their meetups.

ALE Kraków is an initiative/community that was established to promote Agile and Lean practices in software development process, among others. ALE Kraków conducts regular meetings at which Agile and Lean practices in software development are promoted. The group was founded in autumn 2012. The founders are Tomasz Wykowski and Magdalena Blaschke-Picur.

Lublin group of Agile, Lean and Scrum promoters. At regular meetings organized by the group, participants can discuss different topics, solve problems together, and share experience, knowledge and skill set.

This Agile group from Łódź, established by Radosław Lont, came into being at the end of 2013. The group’s mission is represented by 3 sails: support for ongoing tasks, organization of inspiring meetings and acquisition of knowledge.

The group was inspired by the idea of Agile Coach Camp. Their goal is to exchange knowledge through conversations and workshops. Topics of the meeting are not imposed by the organizers – it is the participants who shape the event by proposing subjects that they would like to discuss.

The group was founded in spring 2012 with the intent to share and exchange experiences related to participation in projects driven in accordance with Lean and Agile principles. Formerly it existed under the name PAUG (Poznań Agile User Group).

Poznań initiative initiated by agile enthusiasts from various IT companies. Meetings are organized for people who do not yet work according to the agile philosophy, as well as for people who already have some experience.

A community for all Agile enthusiasts. During the meetings organized by the group, participants can discuss different topics with experts, share their knowledge and experience, take part in Bring Your Own Problem (BYOP) sessions and recharge their batteries with lots of energy and ideas.

A group of Agile enthusiasts in Toruń, set up by Krzysztof Pobożan, Agnieszka Wąsowicz and Lidka Krystoforska. The group organizes meetings in loose, casual atmosphere in a form of presentation + open space discussions.

The Tri-City Agile group, led by Bogdan Baraszkiewicz, was established in autumn 2012. Participants meet regularly and the purpose of the meetings is to exchange knowledge and experience on Agile, Scrum, Lean and Kanban topics.

The group was created for product managers. It focuses on the exchange of views, experiences and ideas in the area of product management, product design, development, management, business shaping, metrics and user experience.

The group has been around since 2010. It was set up by Marek Kirejczyk and Mateusz Srebrny. Meetings are conducted in the form of discussion groups, presentations, lean coffee or in the form of informal meetings over beer.

The aim of the group is to facilitate combining interpersonal skills with technical knowledge by conducting workshops based on Agile methods, soft skills and knowledge about IT.

A Warsaw group of people interested in Kanban, open to both experienced practitioners and beginners.

Lean Startup Polska is a meetup/community of people fascinated by the Lean Startup methodology; those who want to base their business projects on real market needs and everyone who wants to exchange their ideas and experiences. During the meetings, ideas and projects are discussed together with people who have already successfully launched a startup following the Lean Startup approach.

The goal of the group is to share experiences and thoughts on the use of Liberating Structures techniques in a friendly and supportive environment. The group also operates in Crocow and Wrocław.

The Warsaw group, similarly to the one operating in Cracow and Wroclaw, is looking for answers to the following questions: How to motivate our employees? How to change the organizational culture? How to improve teamwork and cooperation in the organization?

A group for product managers, focusing on the exchange of views, experiences and ideas in the area of product management, product design, development, management, business shaping, metrics and user experience.

A group for agile project management enthusiasts. During the meetings, the participants exchange views, share knowledge, experiences and ideas. The group focuses on how to  manage the product effectively, how to use metrics, how to approach user experience, product design and planning of product life cycle.

An open group for Scrum enthusiasts. It welcomes both experienced people and beginners to join their meetings. The goal is to share knowledge about Scrum.

The group deals with topics related to the so-called Turquoise Organizations, following the concept from Frederic Laloux ‘s book “Reinventing Organizations (more information available on author’s website). The meetings are open to everyone, no matter if you are an entrepreneur, manager or employee looking for a new path.

This meetup was created to help understand Scrum and cope with all the challenges we face when developing products. This is a place for anyone who comes with a challenge.

The group shares stories and experiences from SAFe implementations! The meetings are intended for those interested in learning and sharing stories about scaling their Agile implementation using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

An initiative to initiate discussions and connect the broadly understood HR community around Agile topics. Each participant can come to a meeting with their own topic and work out its solution or find a way how to move forward.

The creator of the group is Łukasz Krupa. The mission of Agile Wrocław is to create space for acquiring competences, exchanging experiences, solving crucial problems together and making new contacts with members of the Agile community.

This group of Scrum practitioners focuses on exchanging knowledge, experience and solving complex problems. Each meeting of Gildia Scruma is led by a proven Scrum expert or recognized practitioner.

The goal of the group is to share experiences and thoughts on the use of Liberating Structures techniques in a friendly and supportive environment. The group also operates in Cracow and Warsaw.

The Wrocław group, similarly to the one operating in Cacrow and Warsaw, is looking for answers to the questions: How to motivate employees? How to change the organizational culture? How to change managers’ way of thinking? How to improve teamwork in the organization?

The group is a continuation of the initiative “Agile Addicted” – an initiative that attracted many Agile experts and enthusiasts. The PM in Agile initiative was created by PMs from Objectivity to inspire and enable the exchange of knowledge, development and improvement of the way of working.

The nationwide Agile group operating since 2014. Every year, the group organizes a meeting for people associated with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Lean, at which participants share their experience and knowledge in the form of open groups and topics.
