About

AgilePM (Agile Project Management) is an internationally valued methodology for agile project management (especially in the UK). The basis on which the latest version of the methodology (v2) was created is The DSDM Agile Project Framework (Dynamic Systems Development Method) approach, which enables fast and safe implementation of projects in organizations requiring precision and transparency throughout the entire project life cycle. It is particularly used in projects where the scope of the project may change.

AgilePM is an approach that guarantees the full fulfilment of the client’s expectations, because it provides exactly what the client needs, not just what the client initially ordered. Thanks to this, we are able to thoroughly understand his needs and jointly develop solutions that will be appropriate.

Participants of the training will learn about the most important assumptions of the AgilePM methodology in its latest edition V2. They learn all design roles, management products and techniques present in this methodology.

DSDM process (on which AgilePM is based)

DSDM/AgilePM process
Terms of Reference – High-level definition of the over-arching business driver for, and top-level objectives of, the project.
Business Case – Describes essential business considerations that justify the project, and then are used to assess the viability of the project moving forwards.
Prioritised Requirements List (PRL) – Describes, at a high level, the requirements that the project needs to address if the Business Case is to be met
Solution Architecture Definition (SAD) – Provides an overview and architectural framework for both business and technical aspects of the potential solution. This will evolve as the project proceeds.
Development Approach Definition (DAD) – Defines how the SDT will develop and how they, and associated technical experts and stakeholders, will assess the fitness for purpose of the solution as it evolves against business and technical acceptance criteria.
Delivery Plan – Provides an initial high-level schedule of Increments and Timeboxes and other activities for development, testing and deployment of the solution.
Management Approach Definition (MAD) – The Management Approach Definition (MAD) product describes essential governance and organisational aspects of the project and describes precisely how the project will be managed.
Feasibility Assessment – Provides a snapshot of the evolving business, solution and management products described above as they exist at the end of the Feasibility phase.
Foundations Summary – Provides a snapshot of the evolving business, solution and management products described above as they exist at the end of the Foundations phase.
Timebox Plan – Elaborates on the objectives provided for each Development Timebox in the Delivery Plan.
Timebox Review Record – This is a running review of what has been achieved, feedback, outstanding issues and key decisions and could be constructed to be used for auditing purposes if necessary.
Project Review Report – Consists of 3 components: 1. End of Project Assessment 2. Benefits Enablement Summary (one or more) 3. Increment Review (one or more)
Benefits Assessment – Describes how the benefits have actually accrued, as the Deployed Solution has been used.

The trainer is certified in all key Agile frameworks and methodologies and certified in the PROSCI method to carry out change management activities with 20+ years of international training experience and 15+ years of experience in Agile/Digital Transformations.
