Agile Awareness Session for C-level Executives

Adopting agile is never about adopting agile practices. It’s not even about adopting an agile culture. While those things are important, if you don’t achieve better business outcomes, adopting agile is not worth the investment. Your journey toward greater business agility starts by identifying what outcomes are most important to your company’s success. This knowledge helps you lay a foundation for making decisions about how to tailor your approach and guide your transformation to measurably show progress toward your critical business objectives.

Myths and legends about Agile

Agile Awareness Sessions are conducted for a small, dedicated group of C-level executives and management boards (decision makers). The aim of the workshop is to familiarize recipients with the subject of agile transformations, benefits, risks, costs and forecasts of the transformation process. The meeting also allows to dispel doubts and clarify the widely popular myths and legends associated with agility, which significantly clarifies whether and in which area the customer should apply the agile approach.

Workshops are run by experienced Agile Transformational Coach and (if needed) supported lawyer clarifying areas of agile procurements and contracts.

This unique approach allows you to get to know Agile from the IT, HR, Procurement & Vendor Management, Software Engineering, DevOps and other areas. Decision makers are fully aware of what agile transformation means and what costs and risks they have to face.

Business Agility

It should be recognized that Agile is an organizational change (going significantly beyond IT) that includes entrepreneurship (budgeting, business knowledge, trends, market and end-user needs, etc.), process maturity, project and flow management (proficiency in Agile and Lean), technical maturity (proficiency in software engineering, automation, DevOps, etc.), change management (adaptability, teams, people, culture) and soft skills (communication, conflict management, personality traits, motivators, etc.).

“Agility is the ability to adapt and respond to change… agile organizations view change as an opportunity, not a threat.”

Meeting with Asseco Board of Management about Agile Transformation
(March 2018)

The goal of the workshop

The aim of the workshop is to present and clarify the topic of Agile, not to complete the full agenda step by step. We know from our experience that the  management boards are quite active during these workshops, which favours a very lively atmosphere and a number of questions. Therefore, we do not treat this workshop a out-of-the box workshop, but rather as a meeting with experienced Agile Transformation Experts who will answer many questions from different perspectives.
